[Skybox] Meadow

After being without inspiration for about a year, I bring you a new skybox.
is a very green valley with some exposed rock faces and a blue sky with patches of clouds. I've rendered it at 1024*1024.

Very beautiful, but I worry that it wouldn't exactly fit in with the sci-fi theme that RE uses.

Very nice. I'm sure it has no problems to fit in theme. For example Venus is grassy and rocky.

Hm, venus wouldn't be too bad with it. However, most of our maps are either primarily indoor or space-themed, or have some unusual dark, abandoned kind of feel to them.

Wow I really like this, well done, tempted to create a map just to use this skybox!

Here's a preview of what I've come up with so far, the map is nearly complete however an up hill battle for the most part...

Wow, that is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't been this excited for a map in a long time, Rapidbutton. Your map gave me feels.

That said, I'm not sure if that's the perfect skybox for it. The hill in the background for instance may be a bit too large and the contrast could fit a bit better. That said, I think a bright skybox like this one is still best for the map. You might want to collaborate with skiingpenguins on this.

Be sure to tone down the specularity on the windmill (the mapmodel in the background).

Also, take screenshots with /aniso 16, else your map looks washed out.
