Automatic requesting map issues

I have a problem with requesting map from servers - game shows "Requesting map" and after few seconds the only thing loaded is empty map (with checker floor for editing).
I've deleted all temporary maps loaded by game and stored in .../My Games/Red Eclipse/temp/maps/ but it didn't helped. I've also tried to use /getmap command, but nothing happened (in some cases game loaded empty map).
The other way to make it work is uploading map to server and have same version on server and in My Games folder - but it is missing the point of automatic requesting a map.

Is there any way to make requesting map working? Please help. My RedEclipse version is 1.5.6, I am running RE on Windows 8.1.

I have current maps submodule:

I can join game if the map does not have to be fetched (it works when both me and my server have got map locally - but only if the version of the map is same on both client and server).

The output in "log.txt" when this happens will probably yield more information.

This happens both when no one is on the server and there's someone in game. At least in my game.

So boni, did you actually have "maps/train_0x2302ccda.mpz", or is it the CRC lookup for it failed?

I only have one local copy of the map train, and I checked its crc, which is indeed 0x624bd71c. There is no downloaded maps/train_0x2302ccda.mpz, or any other train_0x...

Ah, so that's why nobody plays on my server except me...
