Today i was testing a theory on making a fake volumetric light effect (and it was a success! ), but then i noticed that when the particles are too far away, almost and inside the fog, they start to flicker and change color for no apparent reason, if you decide to shoot, move a entity etc.

Use a high maxparticledistance value, like 10000 or so to see them while in-game, on the map.
