Texture enhancement thread.

So, as i said last month, i started to remake some of the normal maps. There's still a long way to go, but these are the results for now.
What does everyone think?

It unfortunately highlights the level of tiling with these textures... I actually think that center looks worse. Sure there's now more detail, but it exposes that the map is mostly flat surfaces... Nice work with normalmapping obviously, but I'm not sure its a good idea in the end.

Why ? Its all looking now much better, many old textures are missing normalmaps. I think its a great idea to enchance more of them

I think the keystone2k new texture is a "new" texture. and not an improvement because he looks really different and not only "improved".

I'd actually like to see us transition completely away from the grey/brown textures and start creating more vibrant environments.

Just came in to say that im planning to start remaking some other normal maps... i'll share more when i get results.
