The point is that weapons and game-critical objects should be reachable without complicated moves like wallrunning.
Moving the bomber ball into the tunnel allows a ladder route for less experienced players, and a fall after the wallrun for more experienced once, so that would probably be the easiest fix.

actually this is a bug, the ball should not be spawning there as it isn't even a bomberball-defined affinity (it's the team affinity for non-insta modes). the affinities could be better placed, but i'll wait until the bug is figured out to mess with it.

I just tried to test this (and the mapbalance thing) in SVN. I cannot reproduce either error, I tried ctf, dtf, bomber, multi-bomber, hold-bomber, and multi-hold-bomber. All affinities spawn where they should and there is no mapbalance kicking in anywhere.

hm, i used the same mutators as in the original post screeny. is the ball supposed to spawn at bases in attack BB? if so i'm not sure i even understand how to play this mutator, maybe it could be explained better. with the mentioned mutators teams are balanced 4 times, without it seems not

Wait, multi-attack bomber is actually a thing? That sounds practically unplayable, one offense at a time against three defense teams that might as well be colored the same to remind each other that they form a temporary alliance.

In fact, omega are the only attackers in that combination; any other team that attempts to grab the ball will force a reset. If the behavior is meant to be otherwise, then that's a bug.

Excuse me for re-opening this, but the issue has merely changed from the bomber ball itself being hard to the goals being hard to reach.

for now i put the higher affinities as freestyle only, the lower affinities for every other mode. if this doesn't work it can be modified again.
